ڈاکٹر عمر سلطان نے بتایا کہ شدید گرمی سے بچنے کے لیے شہری صبح 11بجے سے شام5بجے تک غیرضروری طور پر تیز دھوپ میں نہ نکلیں اگر ضروری ہو تو سر ڈھانپ کر نکلیں،سادہ پانی میں او آر ایس ملاکرپیئں اگر مریض کے جسم کا درجہ حرارت بڑھ جائے تو اسے فوری سایہ دار جگہ پر لے جایا جائے۔

نہوں نے بتایا کہ شدید گرمی کے دوران کھانے پینے میں زیادہ احتیاط کی ضرورت ہوتی ہے،مرغن اورچٹ پٹی غذاؤں کا استعمال کم کر دینا چاہیے،کیونکہ یہ معدے میں تیزابیت کا باعث بن سکتی ہیں۔ شدید گرمی میں زیادہ گوشت کھانے سے پیٹ خراب ہوجاتا ہے،ٹھیلوں پر فروخت ہونے والی غیرمعیاری اشیا کھانے پینے سے گریز کریں۔
